Nomination for British Insurance Awards - Claims Initiative of the Year

We are delighted to announce CEGA Group Services has been short-listed for this year's British Insurance Awards. The nomination recognises our achievements when faced with the immediate and dramatic surge in travel claims following the eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in 2010.
Faced with an unprecedented increase in claims' volumes, more than four times the forecast figure, we were determined to maintain the high levels of quality and customer service which are synonymous with CEGA and the brands we serve.
Through a combination of a tried and tested surge plan, the commitment of our workforce and the effective management of resources and technology, we were able to maintain and in many cases exceed the expectations of our customers.
Throughout the whole process, we worked in close partnership with our clients and provided regular analyses of the potential impact in terms of service and cost. We should like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our partners for their help and support during the crisis and especially to those who provided testimonies acknowledging the efforts of our staff and management that undoubtedly played a part in our nomination.
