Another award for CEGA

Following a third consecutive nomination, CEGA is very proud to have emerged winners in the category of 'Independent Fraud Investigation Team of the Year' at the 2011 Insurance Fraud Awards.

The Award recognises the significant increases in detection rates that CEGA has achieved on behalf of its clients. According to the ABI, the fraud returns we submitted in 2010 accounted for more than twice the UK travel insurance sector average. Muir Robertson, CEGA's Managing Director, said "this award is about more than just celebrating the first class skills of CEGA's in-house Special Investigations Team - it is confirmation of what has been achieved in terms of increasing fraud awareness across the Company and exploiting the benefits of an integrated assistance and claims service".

CEGA also reached the finals of this year's British Insurance Awards for their handling of claims arising from the Icelandic Ash cloud.
