Intensive Care Nurses
We are looking for Intensive Care Nurses to work alongside our anaesthetists on Air Ambulance flights. You will currently be working in Critical Care, with at least twelve months experience, and be fully conversant with the drugs and techniques used in caring for ventilated patients. You should also have experience in road transfers of ventilated patients.
Our Air Ambulances are used to repatriate critically ill patients from anywhere within Europe, North Africa, and the Canary Islands. We also do inter-hospital transfers for the NHS, the MOD and from the Channel Islands to the UK. Most trips are completed within one day, but some may involve an overnight stay abroad, for which all expenses will be paid.
You would join our bank of Critical Care staff, and we normally ask that you be available to do at least two trips per month.
We will provide you with all necessary training in the relevant aspects of aviation medicine and aeromedical transport, prior to starting work with us.
Critical Care Doctors
We are looking for experienced anaesthetists/ intensivists to join our bank of doctors doing critical care air ambulance flights. You will have at least 2 years of anaesthetic and ICU experience, be confident in the management of critically ill, ventilated patients, and be currently working in a critical care environment.
Our Air Ambulances are used to repatriate patients from anywhere within Europe, down to North Africa, and the Canary Islands. We also do inter-hospital transfers for the NHS, the MOD and from the Channel Islands to the UK. Many jobs are completed within one day, but some may involve an overnight stay abroad, for which all expenses will be paid.
Our aircraft are based at Bournemouth Airport, so you will ideally live within an hour’s travelling time of here, as some flights need to leave at short notice. We ask that you be available to do at least two trips per month, although you can do more if you wish.
We will provide you with all necessary training in the relevant aspects of aviation medicine and aeromedical transport, prior to starting work with us.
We offer an excellent rate of pay, according to experience.
General Doctors
We are looking for experienced General Doctors (A&E, Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedic, GP) to join our bank of doctors doing repatriations on commercial airlines.
Some repatriations are completed within one day, but many involve an overnight stay abroad, for which all expenses will be paid.
Jobs start from our offices at Funtington, near Chichester, so you would ideally live within an hour of here. We ask that you be available to do at least two trips per month, although you can do more if you wish.
You will need a current ALS Certificate.
We will provide you with all necessary training in the relevant aspects of aviation medicine and aeromedical transport, prior to starting work with us.
