Learning & Development

The last two years has been an exciting time for learning and development within CEGA and is set to continue for 2012.

Following investment in new development facilities and the integration of a company-wide HR system, all employees can access a development syllabus and request learning opportunities on an individual basis, as well as the fundamental training required by all members of the team.

The Learning & Development team not only have experience in using a variety of training methods, but a number of years in the insurance industry, including that of claims and assistance. Therefore fully understanding the requirements of CEGA, our clients and our customers.

In addition to formal methods of learning, we are also in the process of introducing more informal methods of development such as action learning sets. This has begun with the management team throughout the organisation and is being filtered to staff at varying levels who wish to participate.

CEGA are currently supporting a number of professional qualifications, including the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications. This year we are launching into this on a larger scale than previously, not only offering financial support, but providing workshops in-house to support staff through the syllabus and exam process.

This is not just about attaining a qualification, but how it links in with the day to day role, the customer and the company's position within the industry.
