Graham Ponsford - Group Chief Executive One of the company's founders, Graham is still very much involved in the leadership and strategic development of both the Group Services and Air Ambulance businesses.
Muir Robertson - Managing Director With a background in claims management and operations, Muir joined CEGA over 10 years ago and was appointed Operations Director in 2006. He recently took up the role of Managing Director of the Group in 2008.
Warwick Hoddy - Financial Director & Company Secretary Warwick joined CEGA in 1997 and in addition to his financial and company secretarial role is also responsible for the Group's IT department.
Dr David E Holland, BMedSci MB BS(Hons) MRCP FRCA - Medical Director Dr Holland has been CEGA’s Medical Director since 1986. He is also a Consultant in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care and Clinical Director at North Bristol Hospitals Trust.
Geoff Tyler - Non Executive Director CEGA's former General Manager, Geoff focuses on international development and acts in an advisory capacity on special projects.
Rob Upton, ACII - Director of Sales & Marketing Rob has worked in insurance for over 20 years with the last 10 specialising in claims and emergency medical assistance. Rob joined from Europ Assistance where he was Sales & Marketing Director.
Neil Heasman - Director of Development Neil joined CEGA in 2005 from Groupama Insurance where he was Household Claims Services Manager. Neil became Director of Development in August 2009 having gained considerable operational experience, heading up the assistance and claims departments.
Dr Tim Hammond, MBBS MRCP(UK) MRCGP - Chief Medical Officer Tim did his medical training in London, and has since worked in Hospital Medicine, General Practice and Medical Assistance both in the UK and overseas. He joined CEGA in 2004 leading the Medical Team in the office, as well as doing some repatriation work.
Dr Sarah Edwards, MB ChB DFFP MRCGP - Office Doctor Sarah qualified as a doctor in 1995 and completed her GP training in 2000. She started working for CEGA in 2005 as a Flight Doctor and currently works as an Office Doctor on a part-time basis. She continues to work locally as a GP.
Dr Jude McSharry, MB BCH BAO MICGP - Office Doctor Jude qualified as a doctor in 2001, initially specialising in Emergency Medicine. He completed his GP training in 2007 and joined CEGA as a Flight and Office Doctor in 2011. He continues to work as a GP.
Dr Frances Dear, BSc MSc (Dist) MBBS MRCGP DFSRH - Office Doctor Frances undertook her medical training in London (Royal Free and St Mary's Hospitals) qualifying in 2003 and completed her GP training in 2009. Frances joined CEGA in 2011 as a Flight and Office Doctor and prior to joining she worked as a GP. She continues to work locally as an out of hours GP and family planning doctor.
